Cookie Policy

How Shadow Leaders uses cookies on shadowleaders.com, and how you can manage your choices.

01. Introduction

Shadow Leaders, a brand of New Technology House LLC (“Shadow Leaders”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on shadowleaders.com. This Cookie Policy explains which cookies we use, why we use them and how you can manage your choices. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

02. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, or help the site owner understand how visitors use it. Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies); others are set by services we use, such as Google (third-party cookies). This policy also covers similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage.

03. How we use cookies

We group cookies into the categories shown in our cookie banner:

  • Necessary: required for the website to work, to protect our forms against spam and to remember your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional: set by YouTube when we embed a video, to remember player settings.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors find and use the website, such as which pages are visited and how long a visit lasts, so we can improve it.
  • Advertisement: we do not run advertising ourselves. YouTube sets these cookies when you play a video embedded on our website.
  • Performance: we do not currently use cookies in this category.

Non-necessary cookies are only placed after you give consent through our cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google services know whether you accepted or declined before they run.

We also use TruConversion to see anonymised click and scroll patterns. It only loads after you accept analytics cookies, and it did not set cookies on our domain in our latest scan. The current list per category is always available in our cookie banner under “Customise”.

05. Third-party providers

Some cookies are set by third parties: Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA and YouTube), Automattic (Jetpack Stats) and TruConversion. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Each provider explains how it uses data in its own privacy policy: Google, Automattic and TruConversion.

06. Managing your cookie preferences
  • Change or withdraw your consent at any time through your cookie settings or the Consent Preferences button that stays visible on every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect use that took place before you withdrew it.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, parts of the website may stop working.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
07. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law requires it. The date below shows when it was last updated.
